Two Crownings – Two Kings

Today was the official coronation day for King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

Hundreds of millions of people from every part of the planet experienced the regal pageantry, the spectacular opulence, the pomp and glory of this historic occasion. The royal throne, the glimmering crown, the lavish regalia were on display for the world to witness.

King Charles III is now head of state for the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and a dozen other countries. He is the titular head of the Church of England, head of the British military and judiciary, and carries a host of other royal titles and duties.

Respect is due!

But there is a greater King, a higher King, who was crowned in my heart 5 decades ago.

His throne was a cross. His crown was made of thorns. His regalia were the wounds that pierced His body.

One day He will return in greater majesty, power, and authority than this world has ever seen. ALL the nations of the world will fall under His reign! EVERY knee will bow before Him, and EVERY tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father!
